My summer has been sooooo busy–and it’s about to hit the climax sequence. I have FOUR events coming up, and I would love to see you there!
Hear “Mailboat” in My Own Voice
The first event is a reading at the beautiful Antioch Public Library, just 30 minutes southwest of Lake Geneva.
Antioch Public Library
Reading, Author Chat, & Book Signing

What do attendees love about my readings? My fans tell me they love hearing my books in my own voice. They feel like they’re hearing the “pure” experience–my words, the way I hear them inside my head.
But my favorite part is the Q&A session that follows–my chance to get inside your head! Frequently, these conversations become very deep, meaningful, and resonant. I think these opportunities to get to know each other better are one of the big reasons I can write books you love so much.
So, if you want to experience the Mailboat Suspense Series like never before, contribute toward how I pen Mailboat VI, and maybe introduce a friend to the stories you love so much, please join us!
Venetian Festival
Right on the heels of my reading is Venetian Festival, Lake Geneva’s biggest annual event. All three of my Lake Geneva retailers booked me–so you can pick your favorite date and time to come see me!

Attractions during Venetian Festival are going to include a carnival by the lake shore (where I set the climax sequence of Mailboat VI!), an art and craft fair in Library Park, a water ski show, and the lighted boat parade–not to mention the fireworks!
So, if you’re planning to take in Venetian, schedule a moment to get out of the sun and come chat with me and support these local Lake Geneva stores!
Just remember: traffic and parking during Venetian can be really challenging. Plan ahead, schedule a little extra time to get where you’re going, maybe take advantage of the park-and-ride options, and most of all, exercise a little patience. If you let it, the beauty of Lake Geneva will find its way to you, even during such a busy weekend.
I hope to see you there!
What about Mailboat VI?
She’s coming along, slowly but surely! I’m still anticipating a 2025 release date.
The opening segment of the story is proving intricate, requiring an impressive degree of brainstorming, writing, research, reworking, then rinse and repeat. It’s a slog, but I’m steadily chipping away toward a finished product I can be proud of.
For those who would be fascinated to watch the progress unfold, I’ve been providing weekly (spoiler-free!) Writing Check-In’s over on my Patreon page. This content can be accessed with a 100% free membership! We’d love to have you aboard.
Thanks for reading, and I hope to see you soon, online or in person!
